Among the issues related to the serious lack of services and infrastructure new subdivision occupants in Ward I Oshawa are facing, resulting in clear safety problems, are the facts that there NO Durham of Region Bus services in the area and NO sidewalks on Harmony Rd. north of Conlin Rd. E.
DRT General Manager wrote me in October that changes could be made in January. But I'm not sure that other staff and members of both the Region and City of Oshawa Council realize or have taken the situation to heart that there is a high risk safety situation in the newer developed areas of North East Oshawa.
Therefore I am praying the following Motion (copied below) before the Dec 3. 2025 1:30 p.m. Transit Executive Committee generates responsive ACTION!!
