Sunday May 31st is Durham Region Police's 1st Oshawa Community Safety Day at Lakeview Park starting at 10 am to 2pm
I will be attending to ask questions and have conversations with our police officers, especially on road safety and excessive vehicle noise.
A constituent recently passed along what the No More Noise organization is doing to try reduce the public harm from noisy muffler add-ons nomorenoise.ca. I mentioned it to Region Chair John Henry when he made an update to Council last week, and asked if the Region would be looking into it like the City of Toronto is.
