The Ontario Government is asking for feedback on extending the e-scooter pilot program 5 more years until Nov 27, 2029.
The deadline for the public to comment is until Friday Sept 27, 2024. "As the initial term of the pilot approaches its end, MTO is considering a 5-year extension and seeks public input."
"This extension will enable the Ministry of Transportation (MTO) to gather additional data to support its review and analysis of e-scooters, providing a clearer understanding of the program’s impact and guiding future policy decisions."
