Best part of the Ward 1 community cleanup at Wilson Rd. N. and Greenhill Ave. April 25th was how many said it was fun!
36 bags of debris cleared from corner at Wilson Rd. N. and Greenhill Ave and pulled out of ravine behind Rockcreek Dr. on west side of Wilson Rd. N. south of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Marvelous how many JW community members so willingly joined in. A Big! Thank! You! to them, and to our MPP Lindsey Park who participated in her second same day cleanup, having been downtown Oshawa along the creek by the RMG picking up litter with the City organized 'Communities with Brooms' event. We are fortunate to have such a hands-on representative in the Ontario Legislature!
Special shout out too! to Stephen LaForest, Cathy Clarke and Oshawa Regional & City Councillor John Neal for helping get the job done in Ward 1!
