Drop off reusable items free of charge Sat. March 21 @ 9am at 4600 Garrard Rd. The Region's REUSE DAY items go to Habitat for Humanity Restores, the Diabetes Canada and Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Acceptable materials:
Wall art and framed mirrors
Lumber (clean, no nails and more than four feet in length)
Roofing materials (new only)
Windows and doors (no slab or hollow core doors)
Tools and hardware
Lighting fixtures
Metal or wooden furniture
Carpets (area rugs in like-new condition, no carpet remnants)
Counters and sinks
Plumbing supplies and fixtures
Flooring (at least 3 boxes of packaged materials)
Clothing and textiles
Books and magazines
CDs, DVDs, video games, records
Toys and games
Sporting equipment
Window coverings (no vertical or horizontal blinds)
Housewares and accessories
Gardening equipment
Working appliances
Footwear and jackets
