According to the Province of Ontario by March 28, 2022 'in the absence of concerning trends':
• All remaining public health and workplace safety measures in
businesses and organizations lifted, including masking
• Revoke public health Emergency Orders under the Reopening Ontario Act
• Recommendations on where masking could be maintained (such as transit)
Although right now Durham Region is in Step 3 and what is expected is that, for example: "Unmonitored, private gathering events held in private residences, backyards, parks and recreational areas (e.g. parties, dinners, BBQs, weddings, etc.) cannot exceed 25 people indoors and 100 people outdoors."
