Some Ward 1 residents will want to circle on their calendars next Monday, Sept 10th 6:30 p.m. since immediately south and impacting Ward 1 (opposite Clearbrook Drive and along Taunton Rd. E) there is a public planning meeting scheduled at Oshawa City Hall Council Chamber for the development plan to open up Murton St. and connect to Grand Ridge Ave west of Harmony Rd. Specifically it is a plan to permit "11 single detached dwellings, 87 street townhouses, 1 medium density residential block, 1 commercial block, 1 block for future residential development, 1 landscaping block, 1 block for a future extension of Grand Ridge Avenue, new Collector Roads (Grand Ridge Avenue and Clearbrook Drive extensions) and new local roads;"
