When door knocking and handing out my election postcard in Ward 1 I've been asked many specific questions. One was for details about the new development plan underway adjacent to Parkwood Meadows Park on Ormond, Dr. just south of Greenhill Ave.

Note that previously the site had been approved for a separate elementary school. The Durham District Catholic School Board advised in 2010 it decided not to acquire ownership of the site to develop an elementary school." As a result, Midhaven Homes submitted a draft plan of subdivision in 2015 for approval to develop approximately 40 single detached dwellings. Work to prepare the site seems well underway in September, 2018.
