Tomorrow Thursday, Dec 30, 2021 these four city recreation facilities will be open with regular hours of operation: the Civic Rec Complex; Delpark Homes Centre; Donevan Rec Complex and South Oshawa Community Centre are all open with regular hours of operation

The Delpark Homes Centre is open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. & South Oshawa Community Centre is open from 11:00 a.m-5:00 p.m.
All other recreation facilities are closed.
THEN NEW YEAR'S DAY 2022, as noted at the top of this post, THE DELPARK HOMES CENTRE WILL BE OPEN 11a.m. - 5p.m.
A constituent called me today for guidance about renting ice time over the remainder of the holidays. They noticed there were empty ice pads at the Delpark Homes Centre on Boxing Day. It was somewhat surprising and a bit of an anomaly when I learned that although the Delpark Homes Centre was open, the Facility Booking Office was closed from Dec 23rd and only reopened Dec 28th. The Facility Booking office will be closed again Dec 31st, until Jan 4th for statutory holidays. The Delpark Homes Centre however will remain open, so if you are interested in renting ice time call the FBO tomorrow Thurs Dec 30!
REMINDER, City will be requiring all persons over the age of 12 to provide certification of vaccination requirements to enter all City facilities.
Btw, Oshawa Recreation department staff say weather permitting, next week they are looking forward to initiating the outdoor natural rinks being flooded as well as adding benches/seating and signage!
