In 2016, Ontario declared the 1st week of November as Treaties Recognition Week.
This week take the time to learn about treaty rights and relationships and why treaties matter to all Ontarians Ministry of Indigenous Affairs is hosting FREE virtual events on TEAMS to increase understanding and awareness around the ongoing importance of treaties and the treaty relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.
