Effective Sat 12:01 a.m. Apr 17 and for the duration of the expanded Stay at Home Order (now extended to May 5, 2021):
1. Ontario Police can now stop and ask anyone on the street or in cars as to why they are not at home, and ask for their address;
2. Travel into Ontario from Manitoba and Quebec is restricted, only exceptions: work, health care services, transportation and delivery of goods and services or exercising Aboriginal or treaty rights;
3. All outdoor social gatherings and organized public events are prohibited except for with members of the same household or one other person from outside that household who lives alone or a caregiver for any member of the household;
4. All non-essential workplaces in construction sector are closed;
5. Capacity limits in all retail settings where in-store shopping is permitted are reduced to 25%. This includes supermarkets, grocery stores, convenience stores, indoor farmers' markets, other stores that primarily sell food and pharmacies; and,
6. All outdoor recreational amenities, i.e. golf courses, basketball courts, soccer fields, playgrounds closed, with limited exceptions.
Also effective Monday, Apr 19, 2021 at 12:01 a.m. the government is limiting capacity of weddings/funerals/religious services/rites or ceremonies to 10 people indoors or outdoors. Social gatherings associated with these services such as receptions are prohibited, except for with members of the same household or one other person from outside that household who lives alone. Drive-in services will be permitted.
