Farm Boy's 48th Store in Canada Opened in Oshawa Today!
The line-up at 7:30 a.m. for the 8 o'clock door opening bodes well for good business at the store's newest location between Wilson Rd. N. and Harmony Rd. N. south side of Taunton Rd. at Clearbrook Dr. traffic lights in same plaza as Chick-Fil-A.
The Mayor with members of Council and City staff and reps from the Oshawa Greater Chamber of Commerce welcomed store employees. Farm Boy officials in attendance from Ottawa provided $5000 cheque to Feed the Need in Durham Pictured is LeeAnne Rorabeck Director of Development & Communications receiving the FTND donation.
Farm Boy was founded in 1981 with head offices in Ottawa and in 2018 was acquired by Sobey's. Oshawa's Farm Boy is reported as being 32,000 sq. ft. approximately 20% larger than the Farm Boy in Whitby.
