For those between 12 and 17 years old in Ontario waiting to receive the COVID-19 immunization shot, note that the only vaccine approved is Pfizer. Good news yesterday! The Region of Durham announced there is now enough supply of Pfizer to open the community clinics for all ages 12 years and up! Sign up for appointments available starting Monday May 31 at the Ajax, Pickering, Clarington and Oshawa clinics -see link here for hours, locations and how to apply. https://www.oshawa.ca/Modules/News/index.aspx?newsId=b96fb8be-317a-4e9a-a6ff-bd2e0ae278ee&fbclid=IwAR0L5kn_SSuRyCXL_nCLfIhcefugbp-aqBFWJEkqsUNE2KbyYS0PA2Fcfg0

And more good news! With a population of around 710,000, the Region of Durham is now at the point since the mass immunization roll out began 3+ months ago where over 50% have received at least one vaccination shot.
Here are the stats from the Region's COVID Data Tracker. At this point Oshawa has 80,000+ vaccinated
