Attention: upcoming work on Simcoe St. between Oshawa and Port Perry, just south of Coates Rd. at the CPR rail overpass. Traffic will be slowed starting Tues. August 4, 2020 for rehabilitation of the CPR Underpass. The work will consist of concrete repair to the walls and bridge structure, removal of steel beam guide rail and construction of new concrete barrier. Construction is expected to be completed by November, 2020. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Traffic restrictions of one lane in each direction will be maintained throughout the project. Additional lane restrictions may be required to complete the work. The Region’s contractor is Bob Hendricksen Construction Ltd.
