Everyone is familiar with the Toronto sign at Nathan Phillips Square. Now check out the neat, digital one in Hamilton. And the one planned for Barrie. Ottawa’s is also digital. (Pictures and links below)
Fyi, most of the sign letters in the other municipalities are between 7 and 8’ high and about 7 or 8’ wide. It is nice to see some versatile designs with control over lighting to celebrate various events.
WITH OSHAWA’S 100th CENTENNIAL fast approaching, isn’t it a good time to start planning one? There could be a design competition. Here’s my hand at trying one.
